There is an innocence within me that already knows how to trust my Higher Power, to cherish life while holding it lightly, to live fully and simply in the present moment. I will allow that part of myself to come forward and nourish me as I continue on this journey. I should be content to look at a mountain for what it is and not as a comment on my life. They say that pain is inevitable but suffering is optional. If I learn to accept that pain as part of life, I will be better able to endure the difficult times and then move on, leaving the pain behind me. These will often be forgotten, only to be remembered again..
